2. What data we process and why
Technical data
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. To deliver the pages and keep the service secure, the hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages requested. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data stored on your device
Pulso saves your light/dark theme preference, your last metronome settings (tempo, time signature, patterns) and, if the cookie banner is shown, your cookie choices, in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. See the cookie policy for details.
Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4)
Only if you accept analytics, Pulso may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and interactions, using identifiers stored in cookies. Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Google LLC for users outside the EEA). Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Only if you accept advertising, Pulso may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to show and measure ads and to limit how often you see them. Google acts as an independent controller for that processing; see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Messages you send us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in answering it. We keep the conversation for as long as needed to handle your request.
What the metronome does not do
The metronome only plays sounds. It does not access your microphone or record any audio.
3. Who receives your data
- Netlify, Inc., as hosting provider.
- Google (Analytics and AdSense), only if you have given consent for those purposes.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Netlify and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider.
5. How long we keep data
- Hosting logs: according to the hosting provider's own retention policy.
- Google Analytics: for the period configured in our account, never more than 14 months.
- Cookie choices: up to 12 months, after which we ask you again.
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your request.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. To exercise these rights, email indomit.dev@gmail.com and, if needed, we will ask you to confirm your identity. You can change your cookie choices at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es); you can also contact the authority in your country of residence.
7. Children
Pulso is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
